CDL A Driver – Construction Support (Local Routes) | Miami, FL
Pay: $22–$28/hour (based on experience)
Location: Miami / South Florida
Schedule: Full-time | Day shift
Position Overview
We are seeking a CDL A Driver to support our field operations across the Miami area. This role is critical to keeping our crews moving—delivering materials, maintaining equipment, and supporting job site operations.
This is not just driving—you’ll be hands-on supporting crews, loading materials, and keeping our fleet and job sites running efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver materials and equipment to and from job sites
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and job site materials
- Haul dump trailers and operate company vehicles (pickup, box truck, etc.)
- Assist with job site cleanup (debris, shingles, scrap, etc.)
- Complete vehicle and trailer maintenance logs
- Wash and maintain trucks and trailers
- Report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately
- Represent the company professionally with customers and crews
What We’re Looking For
- CDL A License (Required)
- Clean driving record (must be insurable)
- Experience driving trucks, trailers, and construction materials preferred
- Ability to navigate Miami/South Florida routes efficiently
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments (heat, weather, job sites)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Strong work ethic and reliability—this role supports active crews daily
Bonus Skills (We’ll Train the Right Person)
- Experience operating dump trailers or light/heavy equipment
- Familiarity with GPS/navigation tools
- Willingness to learn equipment operation (material lifts, pumps, etc.)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to see, hear, and communicate clearly on active job sites
