Our fully-owned for-profit subsidiary La Causa Development along with CPLC subsidiaries provides comprehensive professional expertise in design and construction, in addition to construction management, property management, and sale of completed projects, to include: retail, medical, and mixed-use development, as well as residential multi-family and single family homes.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?
You will be a key player in day-to-day property operations, ensuring that all maintenance functions run efficiently. Your responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, grounds keeping, and apartment turnovers. You may also take on additional tasks assigned by your supervisor. Your work ensures that residents and commercial tenants enjoy safe, well-maintained, and high-quality spaces.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- Education /Background: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply an understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Employee will be expected to participate in continuous learning, competency building and maintenance of competency skills.
TYPES OF MACHINES, TOOLS AND VEHICLES REQUIRED TO BE USED
- Hand tools normally used in construction, maintenance or landscaping.
- Power tools to include, but not limited to, power drill, grinder, string trimmer, hedge trimmer, power floor cleaner, power drain cleaner and key machine.
Personal Tools – Each employee must provide his own hand tools. The organization does not reimburse for tools that are broken, worn out, lost or stolen. Employees must have at minimum the following set of tools. Employees who do not have their own tools may make arrangements with District Manager’s approval to purchase tools. Repayments must be made within three months through payroll deductions. If employment is terminated for any reason before repayment is completed, payment in full will be withheld from final paycheck.
