The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining Brickstone Brewhouse’s standards for taste, presentation, and cleanliness. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a passion for crafting exceptional dishes to complement Brickstone’s elevated tavern experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all dishes are presented with consistency and attention to detail.
- Monitor food quality and freshness, making adjustments as needed.
Station Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station during service.
- Set up and break down your station before and after shifts, ensuring readiness for the next service.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service, particularly during high-volume periods.
- Communicate effectively with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef regarding inventory, preparation needs, and any issues.
Safety & Cleanliness:
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, including regular deep cleaning tasks.
Compensation details: 18-24 Hourly Wage
