Position Summary
The On-Site Project Director (Owner’s Representative) is the senior leader responsible for day-to-day leadership, oversight, and delivery of a multi-building data center project on behalf of the Owner. This role is project-focused and execution-driven, with full accountability for ensuring that four (4) data center buildings are delivered in alignment with Owner expectations for schedule, cost, quality, safety, and operational readiness.
The Project Director leads the CorePhase Owner’s Rep team on-site, providing direction, coordination, and performance management of General Contractors (GCs), subcontractors, and the broader integrated project team. This individual ensures that all parties are aligned, accountable, and executing in accordance with contractual requirements, project KPIs, and Owner standards. This position requires a leader who is deeply engaged in the daily execution of the project, capable of leading safety and well-being as a core value, operating at speed while maintaining strong controls, governance, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership (Owner’s Perspective)
Lead the

Oversee multiple

Integrated Team Leadership & Communication
Lead communication across the
integrated project team, including:Owner stakeholders (Nexus, ANTs, etc.)General ContractorsDesign teams and consultantsPeer Owner’s Representatives (HSE, Project Controls, Commissioning)
Share information effectively and appropriately, balancing transparency with confidentiality and contractual boundariesServe as the central coordination point while respecting formal lines of communication and authorityEnsure consistent messaging and alignment across all stakeholders
Technical & Field Oversight (Mission-Critical Focus)
Apply strong
technical knowledge of data center construction, with emphasis on:Electrical infrastructure (UPS, generators, switchgear, redundancy systems)Mechanical systems (cooling plants, CRAH/CRAC units, piping systems)Controls and system integrationEnsure proper coordination and sequencing of
MEP systems critical to commissioning and operationsValidate that field execution aligns with design intent and operational requirementsSupport readiness for commissioning and turnover
Risk Management & Controls
Maintain a

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (required)
Experience
15+ years of experience in construction, EPC, or Owner’s Representative rolesDirect experience delivering
data center or mission-critical projectsProven track record of
leading field execution on complex, fast-track projectsExperience overseeing
General Contractors in an Owner’s Rep capacityStrong background in
