As a Restaurant General Manager at Phelan Family Brands, you will play a pivotal role in the overall success of the restaurant. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service, and maximizing profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of dedicated staff members, including kitchen and front-of-house staff. Set clear expectations, provide guidance, and foster a positive working environment.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including inventory management, staffing, and scheduling. Ensure that food quality, service, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Financial Management: Monitor and control restaurant expenses, including labor and food costs. Implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and advance their careers within the company.
- Compliance: Ensure that the restaurant complies with all relevant health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in restaurant management software and MS Office.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field (preferred).
