We offer clients a range of fixed-fee legal packages covering everything that small businesses and startups need – company set up, contract review and negotiation, employment, capital raising and data protection. We run our business like a tech startup, with user experience, creativity and lean thinking at the core of our culture.
We’re currently looking for a Senior Lawyer with at least 4 years’ PQE to join our growing team in the UK.
Key experience and skills:
We're looking for a qualified lawyer with around 4 years PQE in general commercial and corporate law, preferably having worked in a leading private practice or in-house environment. Ideally, this experience will have been obtained in England or Wales, although we also welcome candidates who have practised in similar common law jurisdictions such as Australia, New Zealand or Canada.
The successful candidate should be confident to take ownership of most of their own matters, particularly in commercial and corporate law.
In addition, specialisation in any of the following areas would be favourably considered:
- Technology & IP;
- Privacy, data protection and GDPR related work; and
- Employment law.
The successful candidate would also demonstrate the following key skills:
- Personable, with experience working directly with clients;
- Commercially minded, with experience building client relationships;
- Tech-savvy, able to operate our technology platforms;
- Previous leadership experience (desirable);
- Previous experience training junior lawyers (desirable);
- Independent, comfortable working autonomously; and
- Efficient, works smart and gets things done.
Note: We are a legal consultancy, not a regulated law firm. This means we can only provide services in specific areas of practice and do not handle disputes or litigation. However, this also allows us to consider a broader range of candidates for this role.
Since we can hire employees with international legal qualifications, UK qualifications are highly valued but not essential. Additionally, while experience within UK firms is a strong advantage, we also welcome applicants with experience in other common law jurisdictions.

We’re looking for someone who:
- Thrives in a flexible environment where performance is measured by results rather than facetime

- Aligns with our values of working smart, supporting each other, showing empathy towards both teammates and clients, and delivering practical, commercially focused solutions.
