Seasonal Assistant Concession Manager

Assistant Concession Manager – Seasonal (Non-Exempt)

Rate: $14.00 / hour

Pay Grade: SEA | Starting salary based on prior experience and education.

Location: Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park Fairport Harbor, OH 44077

Position Description: Under the direction of the Outdoor Education Manager, the Assistant Concession Manager helps oversee daily operations of the concession stand, paddle rental, and gate.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Supervising concession, paddle rental, and gate staff; scheduling and training staff; and managing inventory.
Preparing and serving food items, delivering excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and complying with local health codes and food safety standards.
Performing additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

Prior experience in the food industry preferred.
Prior management experience preferred.
Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain (training provided).
First Aid and CPR Certification or ability to obtain (training provided).
Must be at least 16 years old.

Dependability and a positive attitude.
Ability to handle money accurately.
Ability to interact with the public, coworkers, and managers with tact, courtesy, and professionalism.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and POS systems.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Variable work schedule up to 40 hours per week.
Occasional weekend, evening, and holiday shifts may be required.
Valid driver's license and insurability under the Agency's liability policy.
Successful completion of a preemployment background check.
