Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner for our
walk-in clinic. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and flexible schedule in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
As a Nurse Practitioner in our practice, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population. You will work closely with our lead physician and Quality team to ensure comprehensive and compassionate treatment for walk-in patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform focused and comprehensive physical exams; review medical histories; diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.Develop individualized care plans, prescribe medications, and order/interpret diagnostics (including point-of-care tests).Educate and counsel patients on preventive care, chronic disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.Collaborate with physicians, RNs/MA’s, and ancillary teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care.Stay current with medical advancements through continuing education and professional development.Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR (eClinicalWorks) aligned with CMS charting requirements; partner with billing/coding to ensure compliant, complete records.Continuously develop clinical expertise aligned with patient needs and practice goals.
Qualifications:
Board-certified Nurse Practitioner with active Texas licensure.Prescriptive authority in Texas and DEA registration (or eligibility).Proficiency with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks experience a plus).Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Spanish fluency not required, but a significant plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.Manual dexterity to operate medical instruments and electronic medical record system (eClinicalWorks).Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed.Visual and auditory acuity to assess patient conditions and respond to clinical needs.Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining professionalism and effectiveness.
