Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our busy pain management practice. The NP will provide comprehensive primary care services, support chronic pain management, and collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical exams
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions commonly seen in pain management patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
- Manage medication therapies, including monitoring effectiveness and side effects (non-opioid and opioid per clinic protocol)
- Provide preventive care, health maintenance, and patient education
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Coordinate care with specialists, physical therapy, behavioral health, and other providers
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, clinic policies, and pain management guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings
- Some travel to satellite offices may be required
Salary:
- Competitive salary, based on experience
- $100,000- $140,000 per year

Schedule:
- Day Shift
- Monday to Friday - no weekends

Requirements:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in South Carolina
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care NP (AGPCNP)
- Active DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of NP experience; pain management or primary care experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex patients
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or internal medicine
- Familiarity with controlled substance regulations and risk-mitigation strategies
- EMR experience, preferably eClinical Works
- Bilingual skills a plus
