Description: Contractor Sales
Are you someone who enjoys building strong relationships and helping contractors get the right materials for the job? We’re looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Contractor Salesperson to join our hardware store team in Dallas, Oregon.
What You’ll Do:Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and professional customers
Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and special orders
Prepare quotes, bids, and take-off support for contractor projects
Coordinate with purchasing and yard staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
Follow up on orders to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction
Stay knowledgeable about products, vendors, and industry trends

Education and Experience:
High School Graduate or Vocational School Graduate.
At least two year’s experience in building materials/hardware industry.
Experience: Sales and marketing experience with retail programs, establishing relationships, and working with customers .
Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word, and Excel is a plus.

The yard environment is characterized by the presence of noise, vehicular fumes and other elements found in a yard environment. Exposure to varying weather conditions including temperature extremes and precipitation.
