Master Tech
As Mechanic Master Tech, you will work in conjunction with the Shop Manager to Maintain and service mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. The Master Mechanic will perform skilled repair services of mechanical, electrical, building systems and equipment. Conducts periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair. This is to be completed in a timely and efficient manner, by diagnosing and repairing problems found during inspections.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Conducts inspections to evaluate mechanical issue.
• Identifies parts needed for replacement.
• Disassemble broken or defective equipment for repair.
• Perform skilled repair service.
• Install or replace machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts.
• Perform diagnose and repair issues of offsite service calls.
• Complete all work in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned by management
Skills and Specifications
• Ability to approach each work assignment and client interaction in an energetic, enthusiastic manner and act with urgency
• Gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
• Working knowledge of forklifts and other material handling equipment
• 10+ years of experience in Electrical, Hydraulic, Gas, Liquid Propane, and Diesel Engine Forklifts
• Excellent communication abilities-Verbal and Written
• Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 90 pounds
• Frequent exposure to the elements
Benefits- 40 hours accrued vacation time, 48 hours accrued Sick time, 6 Paid Holidays, Health, Dental, Vision, IRA, other supplemental Insurance. Work Schedule: M-F 7:30am- 4:00pm
Compensation details: 40-45 Hourly Wage
