The Associate Director of Marketing will help advance the department’s goals by strengthening the organization’s presence through compelling and effective marketing/comms and branding efforts. The Associate Director plays a strategic and key role in increasing brand alignment, collateral development, marketing measurement, and digital management across the organization. The position executes on and oversees projects independently, as well as facilitates collaborative initiatives across the organization and potentially supervise staff.

Essential Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Contribute to and implement marketing and communications strategies to advance organizational goals.
- Lead website maintenance and management including technical updates, content uploads, metrics, and maintenance; partner with IT and consultants as needed.
- Partner with colleagues to create and disseminate print and digital marcomm pieces, including but not limited to e-newsletters, fundraising, and program collateral, etc.
- Partner with colleagues to leverage CRM and/or CMS (Every Action, One Cause, Constant Contact) to inform and enhance strategic marketing approaches.
- Lead creative design and oversee brand standards implementation and integrity.
- Contributes to digital advertising strategies and leads tactical implementation.
- Support marcomm measurement efforts to demonstrate impact and identify actionable insights to increase effectiveness.
- Partners with colleagues to create social media strategies, community management, and content development and execution.
Other Responsibilities:
- Stay current with industry trends and marketing best practices.
- Respond quickly to urgent requests and support crisis communications efforts, as needed.
- Content management system and constituent relationship management databases.
- Ability to work in diverse teams, manage staff/consultants, as well as drive projects independently.
- Serve as a member of the External Affairs department at fundraising events, which may require occasional work outside of standard business hours.
- Other duties as assigned.
