The LTL (Less than Load) Packer Associate is part of the Distribution Center team. This role contributes to the success of the company by packing LTL shipments, preparing, wrapping and having them ready for the packing team; as well as packing customer-pick-up orders. The Associate supports our vision by being dedicated and committed to versatility and excellence in all we produce.
- This is a permanent, full-time hourly position (Non-Exempt) at $15/hr
- This role participates in our onsite schedule
o Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM - Our distribution center is located at 3151 Northwest 125th St. Miami, FL 33167
- This position is based in a warehouse environment, where teamwork and efficiency are essential

- Assists with packing pallet shipments, including following any special requests from customers as needed
- Assists with tendering shipments to carriers, as needed
- Assists with pickups, validating item and quantities are correct and tenders them to recipient
- Responsible for staging all pallets in designated areas according to their assigned carrier
- Responsible for minimizing the obstruction of the shipping area by staging all shipments that are over 7 pallets in designated area
Other Duties:
- Assist with training any new team members on LTL packing process as needed
- Assists with picking orders for shipment and assembling various types of merchandise to be shipped as assigned
- Examines and inspects containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met
- Assists with container off loading and any other warehouse duties (wrapping pallets, load cargo to carriers, etc.) as needed
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment in assigned aisles or areas
- Contributes to department teamwork by demonstrating strong time and attendance records, especially during month-end
- Records personal daily punches and approves accurate bi-weekly time and attendance records
- Actively participates in all one-on-one and group meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education, Experience & Computer Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience in warehouse, QC, Packing or related
- Experience with Warehouse Management System, SAP B1, and handheld devices
- Familiar with WMS, SAP Business One preferred

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision. Must be able to tolerate conditions
associated with no air conditioning or heat.

The salary/hourly range for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions, including, but not limited to, work experience, territory, geographical location, etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
