POSITION OVERVIEW
Anchor Home is looking for you to join our team as a House Manager / Direct Support Team Lead and be the difference in someone's life! In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide essential support and care to adults with developmental disabilities, empowering them to live fulfilling lives. This position will ensure that services are delivered with the most efficient use of resources, in clean and safe environments, and in a manner that helps the individuals experience high-quality services and growth in the areas of choice and decision-making, community integration, relationships, and personal accomplishments.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate a personal commitment to quality & excellence as well as leadership.
Other job duties:
- 24/7 On call responsibilities.
- Handle staff call outs and coverage.
- Cover shifts as needed.
- Run the monthly house meeting
- Shadow/observe, coach and give feedback to DSP's while in the home. This includes reviewing start/end of shift, administering medications, morning/evening routines, etc.
- Timely response to emails and requests from DSPs throughout the day.
- Timely response to emails and requests from the administrative office.
- Purchase groceries and supplies for the house and submit receipts weekly.
- Review ICM daily for attendance, medication compliance, task completion, medication errors, etc.
- Verify medications in ICM.
- Handle situations outside of the everyday norm.
- Work with day program staff when individuals need to come home due to health or behavioral issues.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- CMT License
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Driver's License
- Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
- One (1) year of supervisory experience working with the population served (Strongly Preferred).
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively, individually and as part of a team with subordinates, other staff and supervisors throughout the organization.
- Acceptable criminal background check.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (3PM-11PM)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
