Job Responsibilities - Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and sanding as necessary. - Mix and apply powder coating materials according to specifications and manufacturer guidelines. - Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, including spray guns and ovens. - Ensure proper coverage and thickness of coating on parts and products. - Inspect finished surfaces for quality and ensure adherence to established standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the powder coating process. - Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. - Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed. - Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance. - Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Job Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent. - Proficiency in operating and maintaining powder coating equipment. - Strong understanding of color matching and surface preparation techniques. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. - Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to painting and coating. - Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. - Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. - Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. - Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
