About the role
Home Carpet One is seeking a Showroom Operations Associate to join our small but mighty onsite warehouse team. This role is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, reliable, and ready to contribute to our success.
The schedule for this role will be from 9:30am-5:30pm on Tuesday-Saturday

What you'll do
As an Showroom Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in owning the day-to-day operations of our showroom and warehouse, ensuring our products are handled with care and our customers receive the best service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving & shipping: Own the receipt and dispatch of goods in our in-store warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Fulfillment: Drive our online sample box fulfillment process end-to-end, including printing labels, picking, and packaging boxes
- Material inspection: Own inspection of incoming materials for damage, ensuring only the highest quality products are stocked in our store
- Product handling: Cut and stock carpet and other materials, adhering to safety standards and organizational procedures
- Customer assistance: Provide support to customers when needed, enhancing their shopping experience
- Maintenance and cleanup: Ensure the warehouse and showroom are clean and organized at the end of each day
- Ad-hoc responsibilities: Take on additional tasks as required, contributing to our team's flexibility and efficiency
Who we're looking for
- Self-motivated: You are a self-starter who takes initiative, with a strong sense of reliability, dependability, and responsibility
- Physical ability: You are able to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in physical warehouse activities. Forklift experience is a bonus
- Enthusiastic, professional attitude: You have an enthusiastic, can-do attitude and you treat everyone around you with respect and professionalism
- Collaborative, team player: You are energized by being part of team, collaborating with others across different roles and functions, and encouraging your team members to achieve their full potential
Qualifications
- No specific education requirements
- Computer literacy and willingness to master our inventory management program
- Forklift experience is advantageous, but not mandatory as you’ll be given training
The pay range for this role is:21 - 24 USD per hour(Home Carpet One Showroom)
