Position Title: Catering Team Member

Location: Montgomery College Dining Services

Salary: $16-$17/hr based on experience

We are seeking hospitality driven Team Members to join our AMAZING Catering Team at Montgomery College. In this role you will assist in the setup, serving for events ranging from informal lunch meetings to black tie formal banquets. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in the Contract Dining Services Industry. Some weekends required.

Metz Culinary Management is growing and we are seeking hospitality driven individuals to join our AMAZING Catering Team!

This is a great opportunity to show off your creativity and attention to detail by perfecting beautiful presentations of food and displays while providing AMAZING service to our Guests and Hosts. Catering Team Members create, transport, setup, serve and breakdown banquet-style food displays with unforgettable hospitality and guest experience focus. Our catering events range from small casual business lunches to extravagant black-tie events.

Catering Positions Include:

Bar Tenders
Servers
Drivers
Cooks
Operations (set up/tear down)

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This can be full or part-time and provides very flexible schedules. Hospitality experience is desired and a SMILE is required!

Requirements:

• Experience desired but we are willing to train candidates with a passion for food and understands the basics

• Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and portioning

• Be willing to roll up sleeves and contribute where needed

• Hospitality-driven

• Able to work and thrive in a team environment

• Brings a SMILE and strong work ethic to the TEAM
