We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Restaurant and Events Supervisor.
What will you be doing most days?
- Oversee all functions in hotel event spaces
- Responsible for the overall sanitation and cleanliness of the work areas, banquet rooms, and storage areas
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer needs are met
- Provide unique and creative ideas to enhance meetings & group experience
- Guide the servers in set up of tables and place setting
- Be familiar with all current and upcoming events and their details
- Resolve staff and customer concerns quickly and efficiently
- Co-ordinate effectively with the kitchen and housekeeping department
- Support the scheduling of needed event staff, prepare weekly duty chart to correspond with functions, and manage the labor for an efficient running of operations
- Assist and support the hotel to provide excellent guest service
- Organize transportation of food and equipment for catering events
- Responsible for ensuring sufficient operating guest supplies, beverage supplies, and operating equipment for functions assigned.
- Oversee the events and restaurant staff for an efficient running of events and operations

- You have the perseverance to complete work efficiently with attention to quality and detail
- You can deliver a clean, organized, and refreshed hotel banquet area
- You have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Physical Requirements for this Position
This can be a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.
Travel Requirements
This position may require some travel.
Pay Scale: $13.87 - $33.76/hour
