Population Health NurseA population health nurse is a healthcare professional who works to improve the health of an entire community or population by emphasizing prevention and attending to multiple determinants of health. They may work with individuals, families, groups, organizations, communities, and/or populations to prevent disease, promote healthy behaviors, and reduce health disparities. This individual is an active participant in advocacy, policy development, planning and implementation of public health initiatives that aim to improve the overall health of a community. With a multi-level view of health, a population health nurse takes action through community applications of theory, evidence and commitment to health equity.
Requirements:
Current MO RN license in good standing
One to three years' nursing experience
Starting Range: $31.28 - $39.10
