POSITION SCOPE: It is the primary responsibility of the Exhibition Supervisor to manage the team and operations of our exhibition. They shall manage internal processes and policies for
their hourly teams in accordance with HPX LLC's policies, practices, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Maintain consistency and supervision of various shifts and assist the General and Assistant General Managers.
- Responsible for scheduling the exhibition staff and always ensuring the appropriate levels of staffing.
- Instruct and train new hires while implementing new information and training.
- Responsible for approving refunds, handling guest situations, and having all the knowledge available for the agents as it is needed at any given time.
- Effectively impact ticket sales growth for all company experiences and entertainment venues.
- Coach sellers and inspire growth.
- Responsible for inventory management as directed by immediate supervisor.
- Ensure smooth and efficient operations and provide work direction and motivation to employees.
- Review guest complaints and take appropriate action where necessary.
- Supervision and training of new and existing employees.
- Assists with implementation of departmental policies and special projects.
- Manages labor and reports all concerns to immediate supervisor.
- Updates internal spreadsheets and ensures nightly reporting is set to appropriate entities and oversees audit.
- Responsible for nightly drop and deposit.
- Accuracy in all job-related duties.
- Submitting new events for on-sale, responsible for all steps in the process of a new on-sale, including placing holds, checking for accuracy, communicating new event info to staff.
- Daily supervision, training, and management of all personnel aspects of the exhibition.
- Maintain all company operational standards.
- Oversees all scheduling, payroll expenditures and compliance with budgeted numbers.
- Ensures that the operational standards of the exhibition are always maintained.
- Coaches all associates and will inspire growth.
- Always ensures world class customer service standards, 100% customer greeting, etc.
- Other duties as designated by the corporate leadership.
PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- 3-5 years in exhibition or entertainment leadership.
- Experience supervising personnel.
- Must have a temperament to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Have a working knowledge ofTicketing systems required.
- Must be able to effectively coach co-workers and provide a positive role model for the Team.
- Proven experience in supporting management successfully in all aspects of an
- entertainment venue.
- Ability to assist management in leading a team toward the common goals of incomparable guest service, maximizing revenues, and minimizing expenses.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, with regular weekend work as standard.
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Ability to interpret and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
- Knowledge of account procedures, cash handling and reconciliation practices.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure.
- Strong communication skills

- Capable operations of basic POS and software programs
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to function in high-pressure situations.
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer.

- Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally for the purposes of moving equipment on and off shelves.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.

- Skilled in the use of computer and office equipment.
- Proficient in activities requiring manual dexterity of both hands.
- Primarily an onsite position.
