Shift: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on-site. Each member of the HR team has a set day per week to work an alternate late shift to support 2nd shift - 11:00am-7:00pm
Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, the Recruiter plays a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and securing top-tier talent across a wide range of roles. This position is responsible for designing and executing innovative recruitment strategies that draw a diverse and highly qualified candidate pool aligned with Hi-Tek’s values and business goals.
Working in close partnership with hiring managers, the Recruiter will gain a deep understanding of departmental needs to ensure a seamless and efficient hiring process. From exempt professionals to non-exempt skilled workers, this role will actively source candidates who bring both capability and character to the organization. As a brand ambassador, the Recruiter will also represent Hi-Tek’s vibrant culture across social media platforms and job boards—showcasing why Hi-Tek is not just a workplace, but a community where people thrive.
Essential Tasks
- Talent Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods to identify potential candidates, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Screening and Interviewing: Review resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates’ skills and cultural fit to ensure alignment with the company’s needs.
- Collaboration: Work with department managers to understand specific hiring needs and help develop job descriptions that attract the right candidates.
- Candidate Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing updates and feedback to all applicants.
- Market Insights: Provide insights into market trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and innovative technologies in talent management, and candidate availability to streamline the hiring process.
- Tracking Recruitment Metrics: Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire and cost-per-hire to optimize the recruitment process.
- Connections: Build applicant sources by developing relationships with employment agencies, vocational schools, local high schools, and neighborhood partner organizations.
- Branding: Develops the Hi-Tek Brand and culture image through social media posts to attract applicants and promote employee pride on various platforms. Respond to questions or comments on reviews posted to job-oriented sites. Seek out new reviews from engaged current employees. Create through management collaboration, a quarterly employee newsletter for up-to-date internal communications and an opportunity for employee appreciation.
Other Duties:
- Work an alternate schedule of 11:00am-7:00pm one set day a week [M-Th] to help the team support 2nd shift and allow for later scheduled interviews.
- Comply with all relevant laws regarding recruiting and records retention.
- Assist the HR team with company events.
- Any other duties needed to help drive our vision fulfill our missing and abide by our organization’s values.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent discipline. Equivalent experience in a related role will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruitment preferred
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a similar industry or role required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
- Strong problem-solving and ability to multitask with excellent organizational skills while prioritizing tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
- Must always possess mindfulness and maturity for confidentiality and professionalism
- Must meet the ITAR definition of §120.15 U.S. person
