Job Description
Reports to: Compliance Director and Marketing Director
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Temporary/Contract
Location: Zion HealthShare Headquarters, St George, UT
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled bilingual professional fluent in both English and Spanish to assist with translating documents and web content. This is a temporary role designed to support our team with accurate, clear, and grammatically correct translations that maintain the intended meaning and tone of the original text.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate a variety of documents, policies, and web pages from English to Spanish.
- Ensure all translations are accurate, grammatically correct, and culturally appropriate.
- Review and proofread translated materials for clarity and consistency.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure context and intent are preserved.
- Deliver translations within agreed timelines.
- Other tasks, responsibilities, duties, and projects assigned by the Compliance Director, Marketing & Communications Director, and Zion HealthShare Leadership.
Position Requirements
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking), with excellent grammar in both languages.
- Proven experience in translation or interpretation preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large volumes of material.
- Ability to manage multiple translation tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with professional or organizational terminology (e.g., compliance, healthcare, nonprofit) is a plus.
Contract Details
- Temporary role (approximately 2-3 months)
- Possibility of moving to a full-time position in a different department, if appropriate.
- Expected 30-40 hours/week
- Compensation: $18 - $19/hour
The pay range for this role is:18 - 19 USD per hour(St George)
