About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and guest-focused Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our Food department. In this full-time, salaried position, you will support the management team in ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all food and beverage operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized individual with a passion for hospitality and commitment to excellence.
What You'll Do
- Assist in managing daily food and beverage operations to ensure high-quality service and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise and support the team to ensure smooth execution of service standards and operational policies.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to plan, organize, and implement programs to enhance guest experiences.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and maintain operational efficiency.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist in managing budgets, monitoring costs, and meeting financial goals for the department.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff to maintain a high-performing team.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food and beverage operations or hospitality management.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards in food service operations.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with food and beverage software systems is a plus.
