What you'll do (mostly this...other duties may be assigned):
- Build Culture from the Ground Up: Play a key role in shaping the identity and workplace culture of our newly opened hotel, while enhancing engagement at our renovated sister property.
- Lead High-Volume Recruiting: Drive hiring strategies for a large hourly workforce across both hotels, ensuring we attract and retain top talent in a competitive hospitality market.
- Champion Development: Design and deliver training, coaching, and career growth programs that empower associates and elevate guest experience.
- Advise Leadership: Serve as a trusted business partner to hotel leadership, aligning HR strategy with operational goals and future growth plans.
- Foster Connection: Cultivate a workplace where employees feel heard, valued, and inspired to contribute their best.
What you should bring to the table:
- Professionalism
- Ability to delight by anticipating guest needs and responding in a friendly, helpful manner
- Ability to display a consistently caring and respectful attitude
- Act as a gracious host to guests, vendors and candidates for employment
- Proven experience in HR leadership, ideally in hospitality, retail, or other high-volume service industries
- Deep understanding of environments with large hourly workforces
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a natural relationship-builder
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability
- Experience with HRIS systems and recruiting platforms
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (HR certifications a plus)
