What you'll do (mostly this...other duties may be assigned):
- Contribute to a great guest stay by ensuring the property is in good repair and free of hazards
- Follow guest room preventive maintenance checklist
- Complete room preventive maintenance and ensure that on completion the room is clean, and all materials removed
- Perform basic repairs including but not limited to replacing light fixtures, repairing grout, caulking, tightening loose toilet seats, performing minor plumbing/electrical repair, painting or wall repairs
- Interact with guests and addresses guest needs in a timely and supportive manner
- Report any serious maintenance issues, findings or safety issues immediately to the manager/ supervisor
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
What you should bring to the table:
- Hight School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in general repair such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and maintenance of mechanical equipment
- Pool certification is a plus
- Your best professional manners
- Can-do attitude and passion for guest service
- Ability to delight by anticipating guest needs and responding in a friendly, helpful manner
- Consistently caring and respectful approach to others
- Ability to act as a gracious host to guests, vendors and candidates for employment
