About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Groundskeeper / Janitorial Associate to join our team here at Granite Management in our Pointe West market. The purpose of this position is to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of both indoor and outdoor spaces within our apartment/commercial complexes. The Ideal candidate will possess an eye for detail, a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and a genuine passion for creating a fun yet safe environment for all of our residents.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning tasks in both indoor and outdoor areas of student rental properties.
- Responsible for picking up trash and maintaining the cleanliness of common areas.
- Assist with light landscaping duties such as light trimming of bushes, and maintaining flower beds.
- Follow established guidelines to ensure properties are in excellent condition for tenants.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Occasionally work on weekends, especially during football game weekends or as needed.
Experience / Knowledge and Prior Working History:
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or landscaping preferred.
- Dependable and punctual with the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle, as some commuting between properties is required.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
