About The Role
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Data Quality Assurance Specialist. This remote position is part of our Administrative department, offering a full-time, hourly opportunity. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of our data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data discrepancies, uphold data integrity, and implement quality control measures that support organizational success.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute data quality assurance processes to monitor and verify data accuracy across systems and databases.
- Analyze datasets to detect and resolve discrepancies, inconsistencies, or errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data standards and business requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of data quality processes, findings, and corrective actions.
- Assist in implementing data validation rules and procedures to improve data inputs.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support the development of better workflows for data handling.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data compliance with quality standards and organization policies.
- Communicate findings and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders and management.
- Employ tools and techniques to automate data quality checks for efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in data quality assurance, data management, or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work remotely and independently while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or other data management software.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and quality assurance best practices is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate complex concepts in an understandable manner.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Data Science, Business, or Information Systems) preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Experience with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, or Google Workspace) is desirable.
The pay range for this role is:23.19 - 40.19 USD per hour(Remote (New Orleans, Louisiana, US))
