About the Role
This hybrid role blends hands-on event styling with optional business development. You’ll work directly with guests to create one-of-a-kind hats and help expand our brand by identifying new client opportunities. It's perfect for someone who’s entrepreneurial, creative, and thrives in a dynamic, people-facing environment.
What You’ll Do
Styling & Event Responsibilities
- Customize and brand hats to meet clients’ preferences using bands, accessories, charms, and other design elements
- Assist with sales and suggest upgrades to enhance the guest experience
- Maintain and manage inventory to ensure smooth event operations
- Set up and tear down event stations (must be able to lift up to 40 pounds)
- Deliver exceptional service and represent the Wild Pony brand with warmth and style
Optional Business Development (Commission-Based)
- Reach out to potential event hosts, venues, and corporate clients
- Build and maintain relationships with planners, businesses, and influencers
- Pitch Wild Pony for private parties, festivals, and pop-ups
- Track outreach in our CRM and help close new clients
- Coordinate handoff to our internal event team
What You Bring
- Creativity and attention to detail when styling custom hats
- Friendly, high-energy presence with strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive — you take initiative
- (Bonus) Experience in events, retail, or hospitality
- (Bonus) Existing network in event planning or corporate partnerships
Compensation & Structure
- Part-Time Hourly (Hat Stylist): Hourly rate based on experience. The range is from $10-$15/ hour.
- Commission: Paid on every event or partnership you help close
- Schedule: Flexible and event-based (including weekends/evenings)
- Tools Provided: CRM, Digideck, training resources
