Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Registered Nurse for a Patient Safety & Regulatory Compliance Coordinator.CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: The Quality department is clinically-led and evidence-based for supporting the safest, highest quality health care across the continuum of care for achieving zero harm.
A typical day includes: Leading organizational adherence to regulatory standards and best practices related to patient safety, monitoring regulations, coordinating accreditation surveys, and facilitating activities in the promotion of a safety culture.
- Collaborating across care settings and departments to maintain a culture of safety for zero preventable harm.
- Supporting the safety champion program organizationally for front-line empowerment and advocacy.
- Conducting regular mock surveys and assessments for compliance assurance.
- Implementing quality improvement initiatives for patient safety.
Job Requirements:
- Education: MSN preferred
- Experience: Inpatient healthcare experience, Regulatory compliance experience
- Skills: Attention to detail
- Licensure:RN
- Physical: Ability to sit for extended periods of time
The position is Full-Time, days. Mon-Fri, 8:00-4:30 pm (flexible)
