Job Description/Summary
The implementation of Intercept offers a unique opportunity to become immersed in an evidence-based program model to serve youth & their families, as identified through the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P). The Team Supervisor is primarily responsible for serving as the direct supervisor for the team of 4 specialists in their day-to-day implementation of the Intercept model. The Supervisor carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations’ policies
Responsibilities
- The Team Supervisor provides clinical direction to the specialists based on the program model, which includes, at minimum bi-weekly case review, facilitation of the weekly group supervision process, staffing red flag cases, overseeing service plan development and ensuring case progress
- Ensures quality case documentation, conducts customer surveys, and monitors contractual and funding requirements.
- Assists with coverage for specialists when needed (e.g. vacations and sick leaves), supports staff when attending court and meetings and conducts field supervision to ensure specialist competency and model adherence.
- Is involved in the hiring and performance management of specialists; providing support and assistance to the team; professional development and training; reviewing service receipt and documentation; planning, assigning, and directing work and collaborating with internal and external customers.

Qualifications
- Education - Master’s degree in field of social work, psychology, or other directly related human services field with experience is preferred. Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 2 years of experience in social services required. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to develop and manage staff, ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills. Clinical licensure is preferred, but not required.
