We are currently looking for a Senior Assistant Financial Accountant who will be integral to driving high-level performance across Lovehoney Group. Partnering directly with the wider finance team, your focus will be on supporting and enhancing the consolidation of the Management Accounts and ensuring global tax compliance across Lovehoney companies. In this role, you will combine your appreciation for detail-oriented financial work with your capacity for analytical thinking and system improvement. You will develop key accounting and tax reporting skills in a dynamic global business, all within a company that prizes dedication and results.
What you will do
- Prepare and post monthly IFRS journals and upload adjustments for group consolidation
- Assist with statutory accounts for UK entities and consolidation of Group accounts
- Support global tax compliance by preparing reports and liaising with third-party tax advisors
- Review VAT returns for the UK and EU entities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to document and improve operational processes impacting the accounting system
What you should bring
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite (preferred)
- Part-qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA (preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and formulas
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
