INTERIM DIRECTOR - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTER

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction and supervision of the Vice President of Ancillary Services, the Interim Director of the Behavioral Health Center is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and clinical operations of the Behavioral Health Center ensuring the delivery of the highest quality and safest patient care possible. Provides a comprehensive outpatient treatment program that responds to the community’s needs and supports the organization’s overall mission, philosophy, and goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Advanced degree in a behavioral science or mental health-related field preferred.
Licensure:
- Appropriate license, such as MFT, LCSW, RN, or Clinical Psychologist.
- Maintains current BLS certification.
Experience:
- Clinical, supervisory and administrative experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings; general knowledge of all areas of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment.
Other Skills:
- Superb verbal and written communication skills to share updates with staff, patients and other medical staff.
- Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent customer service skills to provide ongoing support for staff, patients and their families.
- Able to manage and deal with stressful situations; work effectively in stressful situations.
- The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Demonstrates an attitude of co-operation and professionalism.
- Consistently demonstrates positive interpersonal relation skills.
- Demonstrates personal attributes and behaviors which contribute to the smooth operation of the department and/or hospital. Holds staff accountable to do the same.

• Estimated pay based on qualifications (including but not limited to experience, education, certifications, and licensure where applicable).
