Here's the details:
- This position is full-time, 36 hours per week
- 12 hour Night shift
- You will work on occasion during the weekends & holiday schedules (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years) to support the team and meet our patient's needs

JOB SUMMARY:
A clinically competent registered, professional nurse who delivers care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining standards of professional nursing for the age groups served. Works with the Nurse Manger in the supervision, direction, and support of the nursing staff on that unit. Demonstrates leadership ability and serves as a role model for clinical practice.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Licensed to practice in the state of Oklahoma.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Completed one year’s employment at SMC with satisfactory performance evaluation, or two years previous experience.

Current CPR card or completion within 30 days of employment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and dealing with stressful situations.

Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read and write.

Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and ale to talk to converse with others in person and over the phone.

Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.

Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e.: finger stick blood sugars, vital signs, feed patients, and handle instruments).
-
Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.
-
Able to work in latex burdened environment.
