About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Automation QA to lead testing efforts and ensure product quality across our software platforms. You'll design and maintain robust automated test frameworks, work closely with developers and product teams, and help drive a culture of quality in every stage of development. What you'll Do
- You lead by example—mentoring junior engineers, setting quality standards, and championing automation best practices across teams
- Drive testing best practices within our engineering teams by collaborating with product managers and developers to ensure that a testing strategy is defined during ticket refinement and planning
- Lead our test automation strategy, collaborating with developers to design, build, and maintain our automated testing frameworks and scripts.
- Champion automation best practices and work with DevOps to effectively integrate them into our CI/CD pipeline.
- Conduct performance and load testing to assess the application"s stability and responsiveness under various conditions.
- Contribute to the development and adoption of accessibility testing.
- Work with our support teams to ensure defects are documented and reproduced properly.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of software testing experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Test planning experience and the ability to create, document, and execute test cases (manual and automated)
- Proficient in testing RESTful APIs, validating endpoints, response times, data integrity, error handling, and overall performance. Experience with Java and REST-assured for api testing is an asset.
- Hands-on experience in cross-browser testing and testing across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Extensive experience designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation frameworks for APIs, UI, and other testing layers (Functional, Integration, Regression).
- Experience with database testing and writing SQL queries to validate data accuracy and consistency.
- Experience with defect identification, tracking, and resolution
