JOB SUMMARY
-
The Clinical Supervisor–Outpatient Surgery, under the direction of the Surgical Services Manager, Director of Surgical Services and Medical Director of the facility, proactively coordinates patient care activities and ensures the nursing process is carried out by demonstrating professional and clinical leadership. Collaborates with employees and Surgical Services Leadership in the development and implementation of unit goals, unit financial performance, patient safety and performance improvement activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of outpatient surgical experience.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current license in Wisconsin and Minnesota to practice as a Registered Nurse. Wisconsin Background Study upon hire and renewed per Wisconsin state law. BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. ACLS and PALS or PEARS.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
