Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Program Director of Admissions, the Licensed Clinical Therapist conducts clinical assessments and makes appropriate referrals. Completes associated administrative/clerical tasks. Maintains orderly work area. Maintains confidentiality. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct clinical interviews and provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served; possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed. Enters patient information into an electronic medical record. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with outside agencies including insurance companies (telephone and electronic communication; referral sources and insurance carriers for example) and with medical/nursing staff and with patients, families and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs. Participates in all hospital or department meetings as assigned. Maintains confidentiality. May require some on-call time and some travel. Able to fill in as needed to provide treatment services (including group, family and/or individual therapy; family intakes, biopsychosocials, etc.) on any/all inpatient units. Scans documents into the medical record or place paperwork on patient charts as appropriate. Performs other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education/Skills:
Master degree in behavioral health is required. Computer skills, effective telephone communication skills, and customer service skills required. Will be required to complete annual Handle with Care training and CPR.
Work Experience:
Two or more years of experience in related field preferred.
Certification/Licensure-DUE UPON HIRE
- Licensed to practice in MS as indicated by educational specialty (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
Mental Demands:
Ability to handle high stress situations and offer solutions. Must continuously write, listen and communicate well. May require some travel to off-site facilities such as mental health centers or Emergency Departments or hospitals. On-call time may be assigned.
