Position Overview
We are building a cutting-edge Data Security SaaS Platform that will transform the way our customers identify, protect and govern their data. This will revolutionize how customers secure their data by placing identity at the core – providing unparalleled visibility and control. We are integrating agentic AI capabilities into our platform. Allowing AI assistants to query security data using natural language, enhancing the efficiency of security teams in assessing data exposure and access risks. With a rapidly growing customer base and an expanding team, we"re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead, inspire, and scale high-performing engineering teams.
We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager with deep experience in designing and delivering Endpoint Policy Management software to lead a high-impact engineering team. This role requires both strong technical acumen and exceptional leadership abilities to drive the architecture, development, and scaling of our endpoint security and policy management solutions.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our security platform by leading a team responsible for building robust, scalable, and secure systems that empower organizations to define, enforce, and monitor endpoint policies across a wide range of devices and operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & People Management
- Lead a team of software engineers focused on the development of Endpoint Policy Management capabilities.
- Hire, mentor, and grow engineering talent; foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent through coaching, feedback, and career development planning
- Technical Execution & Delivery
- Define the technical vision, roadmap, and architecture for endpoint policy enforcement, configuration management, and compliance monitoring.
- Own the delivery of complex software features from ideation through deployment, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to security best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, UX, QA, and Security to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within scope.
- Ensure operational excellence with a focus on performance, reliability, observability, and maintainability of policy management systems.
- Ensure teams adhere to software engineering best practices (code reviews, CI/CD, testing, observability).
- Strategic Planning & Scaling
- Contribute to technical and product strategy, ensuring engineering priorities are aligned with business goals.
- Drive initiatives around architecture, security, and system performance for a growing SaaS platform.
- Stay current with emerging trends in endpoint security, device management, and policy enforcement technologies.
- Partner with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to ensure robust cloud operations and deployment strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Communicate effectively across engineering, product, customer success, and executive leadership.
- Represent engineering in planning, prioritization, and business alignment meetings.
- Manage technical debt and advocate for engineering investments that improve long-term velocity.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 3–5 years in an engineering leadership or management role
- Proven experience delivering Endpoint Policy Management software (e.g., device control, application control, configuration enforcement, or compliance reporting).
- Deep understanding of endpoint operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and experience with endpoint agent development or orchestration systems.
- Proven success managing teams building cloud-based SaaS products.
- Strong knowledge of modern software development practices, microservices, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Track record of building scalable systems and mentoring technical leaders.
- Proficient in modern software development practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of cross-functional leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), MDM (Mobile Device Management), or UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) platforms.
- Experience scaling engineering teams at a high-growth SaaS company.
- Background in React, JavaScript, C#, .NET, Python, REST APIs.
- Familiarity with data-driven product development and metrics-driven engineering management.
- Prior experience with enterprise-grade security, compliance (SOC 2, GDPR, etc.), and multi-tenant architecture.
