Position Overview
Netwrix is seeking a full-time, mid-level Instructional Designer to join our global team and develop on-demand technical training for our products and solutions. The ideal candidate pairs solid instructional-design expertise with hands-on technical knowledge and serves as a passionate advocate for the end user.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the global Technical Training team to design and develop eLearning solutions in accordance with departmental standards and best practices.
- Update and enhance existing courses to reflect new product releases, ensuring content remains accurate and relevant.
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to scope, storyboard, and script new on-demand training with minimal supervision.
- Build interactive courses in Articulate 360 and publish, test, and maintain them in the Litmos LMS.
- Record, edit, and integrate video, audio, and other multimedia assets using tools such as TechSmith Camtasia to enrich the learner"s experience.
- Track project tasks, timelines, and deliverables in Azure DevOps to keep initiatives on schedule.
- Schedule and conduct SME interviews and participate in global virtual meetings to gather information and align project goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor"s degree
- 3+ years' experience as an Instructional Designer within a software/technology environment
- Proven ability to analyze target audiences, identify learning gaps, and champion the learner experience
- Skilled at gathering information from multiple sources and organizing it into clear, logical learning paths
- Talent for converting complex technical concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand training materials
- Solid understanding of core software concepts and terminology
- Strong command of technical English, encompassing advanced reading comprehension, precise writing, and verbal communication
- Strong command of instructional-design principles (ADDIE or similar) and the end-to-end eLearning development process
- Proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline 360, Rise 360) or a comparable authoring suite
- Hands-on experience with screen-capture tools such as TechSmith Snagit
- Competence in video production and editing using TechSmith Camtasia or equivalent software
