Job Summary
The Interiors Detailer cleans and details aircraft interiors and exteriors.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Wash and wax exterior of general aviation aircraft
- Wash windows and clean tires of aircraft
- Polish brite-work
- Vacuum upholstery
- Dust and polish wood work
- Clean dust and dirt out of controls in cockpit
- Service lavatory
- Assists other departments with various duties
- Ensures proper care of customer property at all phases of work
- Continually keeps clean and organized work area including personal tool box
Qualifications & Job Requirements
- A minimum of one (1) years’ experience in similar capacity
- Flexible schedule with willingness to work overtime, evenings, and weekends, as needed
- Ability to complete assigned tasks in reasonable amount of time
- Ability to follow directions
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to use power operated machinery
Other prerequisites
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in an aircraft hangar environment with moderate noise level. The employee is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Must have the ability for climbing and bending at the waist, crawling, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and working at heights, Reaching overhead above the shoulders and horizontally. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with the occasional requirement to lift up to 100 pounds.
