Help Desk Analyst Overview
Join our team as a Help Desk Analyst to deliver desktop support for Melmark New England, reporting to the MIS Manager. Due to the nature of this position, the Helpdesk Analyst must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively work with all levels of employees within the organization.

Help Desk Analyst Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- A+ or Network+ preferred
- PC Break/fix, Networking, Virtualization, Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2012/2016/2019
- Two-three (2-3) years desktop support experience in a Windows environment; One-two (1-2) years experience with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
- Provides assistance to all Melmark New England employees as it relates to the MIS Department.
Help Desk Analyst Responsibilities
- Possesses experience with and demonstrates knowledge of the Microsoft Exchange 2016/Office 365
- Possesses experience with and demonstrates knowledge of the iOS platform as well iPhone & iPad use and configuration.
- Working Knowledge of Active Directory.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of anti-virus client and Windows Server 2012/2016/2019.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of enterprise backup software and recovery procedures.
- Possesses PC break/fix experience, including power supplies, memory upgrades, drive recovery, etc.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of functional and security patches using available tools (SCCM, etc).
- Demonstrates working knowledge of VPNs, firewalls, routing and network security.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 Professional Suite with an emphasis on Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of virtualization and the VMWare 7.x Hypervisor platform.
- Provides Audio/Video security systems support, installation and cabling.
- Experience with Teams, Zoom and video conferencing systems a plus.
- Rotates schedule, including assistance on weekends and holidays per request from direct supervisor. The Helpdesk Analyst may be required to cover in the school program or alternative sites as based on the needs of the program and/or environmental emergencies.
