This position is responsible for managing substance-use disorder grants for medication-assisted treatment Warm-Hand-Off programs at Mount Sinai and Holy Cross Hospitals. Manger will be applying sound management principles to a variety of programing funded by the grants and services to ensure that quality services are provided as economically as possible. It is concerned with the basic administrative process of planning, staffing, training, coordinating, reporting to grant funders, and budgeting. The incumbent operates independently within the budgetary limitations and the broad framework outlined by the Director for OP Behavior Health to establish and maintain the internal organization of the hospital to meet changing needs in patient care, community and instruction programs. Consistently engages in activities to promote patient satisfaction, safety, advocacy and delivery of the optimum level of services
Key Job Activities:
• Manages all outpatient behavioral health services for applicable clinics/programs/hospitals.
• Engages in activities to promote client satisfaction, safety, advocacy, and delivery of the optimum level of services.
• Acts as census control for Outpatient programs.
• Establishes and coordinates protocols for day-to-day program operations, including clinical support, supervision, and staffing.
• Assists in establishing and maintaining quality assurance.
• Coordinates Public Relations.
• Coordinates calendar of events, in-service, special events and educational components.
• Monitors overall budget and intra-discipline budgets.
• Oversees revenue management in conjunction with financial department and office management staff.
• Ensures appropriate distribution of reports and credentialing surveys.
• Ensures that all staff meets minimum training requirements.
• Acts as back-up intake/case coordinator as needed.
• Communicates expectations of job performance to each manager (as applicable).
• Facilitates ongoing feedback & evaluation of staff.
• Manages scheduling, coverage, & timecards of staff.
• Meets regularly with leaders to ensure creation & implementation of program goals & objectives.
• Maintains an active presence in the program and responsive-ness to all staff members' needs and requests for direction, consultation, and supervision.

Education and Work Experience:
• Master’s degree in a clinical field (Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology).
• 2+ Years of management experience in a community behavioral health setting.
• Experience of supervising clinicians and managing staff.
• Experience working in an outpatient and/or partial hospitalization program.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and car.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Experience in EPIC and MEDITECH software systems preferred.
Certifications/Licenses:
• LCPC, LCSW required, or must obtain a clinical license within 6–9 months of hire date.
