Quality eCQM Analyst

Position Summary:
The Quality Analyst assists the Director of Quality in collecting, monitoring, and reporting data used to evaluate quality of care and performance of selected electronic clinical quality measures (eCQM). The Analyst will collaborate with IT/Oracle Quality leadership and other clinical specialists to build and validate reports to ensure eCQM accuracy. The analyst will perform focused reviews, supporting clinical and medical staff daily to maintain documentation compliance and data accuracy within the required eCQM measures. The Quality Analyst will, as requested, provide additional focused reviews and reports for various departmental meetings. The analyst will serve on data-related project teams and committees with a focus on data sharing and performance improvement initiatives to aid in compliance and achievement of all eCQMs.
Qualifications:
A. Education:
Must be a licensed Nurse in the State of Texas (or higher) or a Bachelor’s degree in related field of study (or higher) required.
B. Training and Experience:
Must have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a hospital setting or quality role required. Management experience preferred. Must obtain Lean Six Sigma Green Belt within one year (1) of hire. Data management, data quality or data governance certification is a plus. Must be proficient in Windows-based word processing and spreadsheet software, with familiarity in basic office equipment. Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, records maintenance and retrieval systems, and regulatory requirements.
Job Knowledge:
• Familiar with hospital organization including policies and procedures,
with comprehensive clinical nursing background.

- Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Demonstrates solid written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey data quality concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
