Job Summary:

The R&D Technician is responsible for aiding in the development of products, anywhere from
ideation to production scale-up. This role involves sample and document preparation,
occasional face-to-face meetings with clients, formula development, and collaboration with other
departments to ensure a seamless transition from R&D to full-scale manufacturing.

Duties/Responsibilities:
● Initial formulation development
● Sample preparation
● Formula Review
● Sample documentation creation
● Finished good specifications creation
● Raw ingredients and supplier documentation review
● Maintain an understanding of current FDA regulations and rules.
● Maintain the cleanliness and organization of laboratory space and equipment
● Supports other departments in ensuring the successful manufacturing of products
created in R&D
● Willing to learn how to formulate new dosage forms and develop flavoring skills
● Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Excellent attention to detail.
● Proficient in documentation review.

● Familiarity with the dietary supplement industry.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field preferred
● Experience in research and development within food, supplement, or powder
manufacturing.
● Experience in a cGMP-regulated environment preferred.
● Strong understanding of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA
regulations for dietary supplements.
Physical Requirements:
● This position may require occasional lifting of equipment or materials up to 30
kilograms
