SVP, Engineering

We are seeking an exceptional SVP of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization as we enter our next phase of growth. The ideal candidate will have successfully built and scaled engineering teams at multiple consumer technology companies, with deep expertise in creating unified platform experiences across hardware, software, and services.
What You'll Do
- Build and scale our engineering organization to support our ambitious growth plans, establishing scalable processes and structures
- Drive platform excellence by ensuring all Gabb products and services work together as a cohesive, integrated ecosystem
- Develop engineering leadership by recruiting, mentoring, and building a world-class team of engineering managers and technical leaders
- Champion engineering best practices including automation, continuous delivery, and quality ownership throughout the development lifecycle
- Partner with Product to deliver innovative experiences that delight our customers while maintaining technical excellence
- Establish centers of excellence in key areas including platform architecture, mobile development, DevOps, and security
- Create a culture of innovation where teams are empowered to build sustainable, scalable solutions
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience scaling engineering organizations through significant growth (50-200+ engineers) at 2+ companies
- Track record of building integrated technology platforms in consumer-facing companies
- Excellence in organizational design - you know how to structure teams for both autonomy and alignment
- Experience building high-performing engineering cultures that own quality end-to-end
- Strategic mindset with tactical execution skills - you can set vision and roll up your sleeves
- Consumer technology background with experience delivering products used by millions
