What You’ll Do
The Nutritional Services Cashier greets and serves customers in the café, including employees, patients, and visitors. You'll work primarily in our cafe, processing transactions accurately while creating a welcoming experience for everyone who stops by.
- Greeting and assisting customers with orders in a courteous and helpful manner
- Accurately processing payments and maintaining receipts and records
- Stocking the salard bar, brewing coffee, and restocking refrigerated storage areas
- transporting food between kitchen and cafe service areas
- Answering phone calls and helping customers with menu questions and meal orders
- Keeping work areas clean and organized, including the food service area, kitchen, and dining space
- Monitoring food temperatures and recording them in logs
- Notifying team members when suppy stock is low
- Follow set proceduresa nd safety guidelines to keep things running smoothly - and cleanly- while also pitching in on other tasks as needed.
Who We’re Looking For
- Courses or experiences showing commitment, reliability, or work ethic
- Must obtain Food Handler Certification from an ANSI accredited program within one month of hire and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
- Two years of previous food service or cashier experience preferred.
What We Offer
- $15.50 - $20.00 Dependent on Experience
- 10% differential in addition to base rate salary
- Additional $2.00 - $4.00 an hour for additional weekend and night shifts
