What You'll Do: As a critical part of the healthcare team, the Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) provides direct professional medical care to patients in our surgery department.
- Assesses needs, ensures proper follow up care, and supports nursing team in completion of tasks.
- Certified Nursing Assistant duties include but are not limited to assisting in all aspects of medical practice under the supervision of a medical provider.
- Assessing needs of patients, checking vital signs, performing procedures as appropriate and ensuring proper follow-up care.
- Participating in frequent interaction with patients regarding all levels of concerns and questions. Keeping up-to-date on public health policies and procedures.
- Performing as a positive member of a nursing team. Executing duties with a willingness to help others who are in need.
- Performing other duties as required or assigned.
- Observing and practicing the policies and procedures of Grand River Hospital District.
- Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
Who We're Looking For
- Licensed in the state of Colorado as a Certified Nurse Aide.
- Completion of Medical Terminology course preferred.
- Must have current BLS card upon hire and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in patient care preferred.
What We Offer
- $17.50 - 26.57 Dependent on experience may vary outside this range
- Additional $2.00 - $4.00 an hour for additional weekend and night shifts
- 10% differential on top of base rate
- Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience
