JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for planning, developing, organizing and controlling the operations of the Compliance office in a manner that contributes to meeting the mission and goals of the Blessing Health System and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory accrediting agencies.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Health System. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goal and direction of the Patient Financial Services Department at Blessing Hospital.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training/Experience:

REQUIRED:
-
Associate's degree (or work experience equivalent) required.

Compliance experience required.
-
Advance knowledge of medical terminology.

Experience in billing, denials, and credit balances for insurances and governmental payers required.

Experience with Microsoft Office software.

PREFERRED:

Bachelor's degree preferred.

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

Certified Compliance Technician (CCT) within 2 years of hire.
