Stellar Global is recruiting for a Coffee Shop Assistant at Samsung KX, located in our flagship store in the heart of King’s cross, London. It's a permanent, part-time role (15 hours per week, 2 days) which will involve working on weekdays and weekends on a rotational basis around the store’s opening hours.

The overall purpose of the role:
The Café Assistant is responsible for the efficient operation of the café overseen by the Events Production Manager/Cluster Manager, you will assist with all aspects of the cafe's operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness, managing inventory and revenue opportunities, including catering services for events. The Café Assistant will report directly to the Events Production Manager/Cluster Manager
Key Accountabilities:
- Operational Support, including opening and closing procedures, stock check etc
- Customer Service, ensuring all guests receive a positive experience.
- Propose ideas and seek new opportunities to maximise revenue and drive footfall to KX and the Cafe.
- Sales and POS Management such as monitoring and analysing sales performance, expenses, and profitability.
- Event Coordination and Catering assistance including setup and catering services as well as orders and deliveries.

Role Requirements:
- This role is based in London, at Samsung KX, King's Cross area
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, mornings and evenings, as required
- Previous experience in café or hospitality, preferably in a similar environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Proficiency in inventory management and financial analysis
- Relevant certifications such as Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher) and First Aid Certification (optional)
