Job Description

We’re looking for compassionate Registered Nurses who are dedicated to providing thoughtful, respectful care to individuals and their families. In this role, you’ll lead the healthcare team in our Skilled Nursing Facility, ensuring excellence in nursing practice and the delivery of patient-centered care. You’ll oversee the individualized care plans for residents and guide assigned nursing staff to provide consistent, high-quality support.

Patient Care & Treatment

Offer holistic and patient-centered nursing care, focusing on the unique needs of individuals and their families with a positive and respectful approach that aligns with the hospital's values. Emphasize support, clear education, and collaborative decision-making to foster a positive care experience.

Collaborative Teamwork

This role involves working closely with our team to deliver patient-focused services and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients while contributing to a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

Current RN licensure to practice in California

1 year experience in Skilled Nursing or Medical Surgical Nursing preferred

Minimum of 1-year MDS completion preferred

Satisfactory completion of a Pharmacology test with a minimum score of 80%

BLS certification required and maintained

ACLS certification required within 6 months and maintained

Must take and pass an Arrhythmia Recognition class within 6 months or provide proof of competency

Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language

Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and coworkers

Ability to provide RN leadership aligned with the policies and vision of the Hospital and Nursing Department

Must have above or exceed standards evaluation at RRH or previous employer in the past year
