Job SummaryThe IT Manager is responsible for leading XYPN's internal IT operations, including infrastructure, systems administration, end-user support, vendor management, and cybersecurity execution. This role ensures the day-to-day stability, security, and scalability of XYPN's technology environment and plays a key role in delivering outstanding support to team members across all service lines.Reporting to the Managing Director of Technology, the IT Manager works closely with colleagues in engineering and security to maintain a seamless, secure, and highly responsive IT ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings a proactive mindset, operational excellence, and a passion for delivering exceptional internal technology experiences.
Key ResponsibilitiesIT Operations & SupportLead day-to-day management of internal IT operations, systems, and hardware/software lifecycle.Oversee end-user support including Help Desk ticket resolution, onboarding/offboarding, and hardware troubleshooting.Serve as administrator for core platforms including GSuite, Slack, Zoom, and identity management tools.Ensure timely, high-quality IT support for team members—remote and on-site—with an emphasis on service and satisfaction.
Infrastructure & Systems AdministrationManage and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, access points, and ISP connections across multiple office locations.Oversee hardware inventory and software licensing, ensuring accuracy and availability.Evaluate new tools and platforms that support operational growth and security standards.
Cybersecurity & Risk ExecutionPartner with security leadership (vCISO and MD of Technology) to implement information security controls, endpoint protection, and response protocols.Support compliance efforts by ensuring systems and access management align with policies and best practices.Facilitate employee compliance and training initiatives in collaboration with Learning & Development.
Vendor & Project ManagementOwn all IT vendor relationships and contracts, including procurement, renewals, and performance management.Coordinate with external partners and cross-functional teams on technology projects and rollouts.Contribute to IT budgeting, procurement, and forecasting.
Team LeadershipLead and mentor IT team members (e.g., IT Specialist), including goal setting, performance development, and coaching.Foster a collaborative, service-oriented IT culture that reflects XYPN's core values and focus on operational excellence.

What You'll Bring to the Table3+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or technical supportStrong working knowledge of Apple/macOS environmentsFamiliarity with enterprise tools including GSuite, Zoom, Slack, identity management (Google, Okta), and VPN/ZTNAExperience managing firewalls, switches, VLANs, and office networksDemonstrated ability to manage vendors and technical projects from evaluation to implementationExcellent communication, customer service, and documentation skills
